Q: How did the writing of this book come about?
JR: At fifty years of age I realized that I was in the midst of a
metamorphosis of spirit as I watched the approaching end of
a twenty-eight-year marriage and the dissolution of a business
that I had dumped my heart and soul into. I found that I was
beginning to step out onto an uncharted personal and spiritual
path at a time when my peers were beginning to consider
retirement. Looking for, but not finding, a book to help with
what I was going through I made a vow to write one in the hopes
of helping others who found themselves where I once was.
